It was an age before the jet bridge was finally connected to the aircraft, and the door was opened.

From Gate 30, it’s a fair old walk to Arrivals, but it was quiet, and I am pleased to say we both got through the passport kiosks with the minimum of fuss.

With no bags to collect, we whizzed through customs and out to find T3 Meet & Greet in the short stay car park area.

We think Bobby Tesla was pleased to see us, since he appeared to be glistening.

The drive home along the M4 was uneventful, but the welcome home from Mango was lovely. She was clearly pleased to see us. As normal, Chutney was chilled about everything.
