It was the normal jog down the corridor from Gate 23 down to arrivals. It always seems a bit odd avoiding passport control when arriving from Ireland, especially considering they still check passports in the process of leaving Ireland.

I discovered something this evening that doesn't inspire confidence in security procedures at JFK. I don't know whether it's just BA flouting the rules or other airlines do it as well. More on that later...
