I have not stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a very long time – a symptom of covid and the pandemic I guess.  Whilst I have been away, they have refurbished the place – looks much nicer in the public areas and even the guest rooms have had a bit of a makeover.

My room looked fairly decent as well. Nice to see that the hotel had taken the opportunity of a refresh whilst the world was in lock down!

It was good to get into bed – it hadn’t been a long day, but there’s always a bit of anticipation ahead of a busy TP run. Looking forward to the real start of my trip tomorrow!
